The maximum speed limit for three wheelers is 50 kmph on 4 lane or more divider roads, 40 kmph on roads within the corporation limits, 25 kms per hour outside schools and 40 kms per hour on other roads.

The maximum speed limit for quadricycles is 50 kmph on roads with 4 lanes or more dividers, 40 kmph on roads within the corporation limits, 25 kms per hour outside schools and 40 kms per hour on other roads. 4 lanes for up to 8 seater vehicles (M-1 category).

The maximum speed limit has been fixed at 100 kmph on divider roads, 50 kmph on municipal roads, 25 kmph outside schools and 55 kmph on other roads.
